Bearing Witness to the Light:

John the Gospel-writer now introduces us to John the Baptist, the one who bears witness. We don't often use the language of "bearing witness" outside of the church, but you can think about a billboard which points people to their final destination. His life's mission was to point people to Jesus. We pray that God would use us in the same way, to point people to Jesus.
