Pentecost 13- Traditional

The first eleven chapters of Romans speak about the subject of Righteousness. First that we have a problem of unrighteousness (since we are broken by sin) and then how God lovingly restores us in a Right relationship by His Grace. St. Paul concludes by praising God, saying, “To him be glory forever. Amen.” But God’s work changes us, so He immediately continues with: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God”. Our Lord has made all the difference in our lives, so today we will focus on how being a “living sacrifice” is really service lived out in response to God’s Love.
