Without the resurrection, what would be the point of life?! In 1 Cor. 15, St. Paul paints a bleak picture of a world without Easter—where sin still reigns, death is final, and we are left with nothing except empty hopes. BUT! (There’s that big word from last week’s sermon.) Jesus is risen!  Because Christ has risen, everything has changed! We are no longer people of despair but people of hope. The resurrection of Jesus gives us purpose, peace, and a reason to live boldly for Him. Because He lives, we live with joy, confidence, and the promise of resurrected life to come.
