Jr & Sr high service opportunity. Meet @The Youth House to serve our congregation and community with yard care and light home maintenance. Food will be served. - 10/08 12pm-3pm Annual Youth vs Parents Kickball Classic
Join us for the Annual Youth vs. Parents Kickball Classic after the SSLC Homecoming cookout! Cheer on the Youth as they try to reclaim the coveted trophy from the reigning champs, the Parents. - 10/20 5:30pm-12:30am SCarowinds
Join us for a night of screams and scares as we travel to SCarowinds in Charlotte, NC. A parent must accompany students under 13. The bus will leave from The Youth House at 5:30 pm sharp. Jr & Sr high students are invited to join us as we travel to Concordia in Conover, NC, to Invade their Youth event. Food will be served. We will leave from The Youth House. - 10/28 10am-4pm Outdoor Adventure Group (Little Lost Cove Cliffs Trail)
Join us for a light breakfast before heading off to hike Little Lost Cove Cliffs Trail, a moderate 4.9-mile loop trail near Collettsville, NC. A parent must accompany students under the age of 13. - 10/29 12pm-1pm Confirmation - Unit 2 Check-in
Confirmation students and their families will meet in the sanctuary immediately after the 10:30am worship service for the Unit 2 Check-in. - 10/29 1pm-3pm Jr High Youth Event

Confirmation
Confirmation is part of a lifelong journey of faith, where students grow in confidence, competence, and conviction as faithful followers for life. Confirmands are even given the privilege of publicly confessing and confirming their baptismal faith and identity as a child of God before the congregation.
