Blueprint For Blessing - “Altars & Access” - T

Sin closed the door to God’s presence, but God Himself built a way back in. From the wilderness altar to the temple courts, He designed a system of priests and sacrifices to show that holiness could only be approached through atonement. Every priest who stood between God and His people pointed forward to the perfect Mediator to come. Every drop of blood on the altar foreshadowed the cross. In Jesus, the spotless Lamb and our great High Priest, God fulfilled His blueprint for redemption. Through His sacrifice, He tore the curtain and opened the way into His presence once and for all.
