LWML Sunday - “According to Thy Word”

This year’s Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML) Sunday theme is “Ready to Serve” based on Luke 1:38. As we recognize and celebrate the work of LWML, we give thanks for the faithful service given by Mary the mother of our Lord Jesus.  Her service is exemplary because though she was quite young, she completely trusted that it was God who was at work through her.  Whether young or old, women or men, may we have a faith that is put into action saying, “May it be to me according to your Word, O Lord” as we proclaim that Jesus is our Lord and that He came for all nations.
