Thanksgiving Eve Service

Thankfulness flows from remembrance. When we remember what God has done for us, the promises He has kept, thankfulness is our natural response. Therefore, when we fail to remember the wonderful things that God has done for us, we fail to give Him thanks and praise. We begin to take the things in our lives for granted, forgetting the One from Whom they come. This is why, throughout scripture, there is a call to remember! To remember what God has done, from rescuing Israel out of slavery in Egypt to rescuing all mankind from the bondage of sin through Christ's death and resurrection. When we constantly remind ourselves of what God has done and promised to do, we cannot be anything else but thankful.
