Apparently, we’ve written a lot of songs trying to figure out what love is. What Is Love? What’s love got to do with it anyway? Can we really believe in love after love? I want to know what love is! Can someone please show me?! If we really want to know what love is, where should we look? Well, Isaiah wrote a love song too. Isaiah 5 begins as a love song about a carefully tended vineyard, but the song quickly takes an unexpected turn. Today, we enter the vineyard of the Lord, where some familiar love songs will help us discover what love truly looks like. A vineyard filled with wild grapes ultimately points us toward the greatest love ever shown.
