The word doxology encompasses words of praise that are addressed to the triune God, which often come at the end of a hymn, or perhaps even a church gathering. Romans 11 ends with a beautiful outpouring of praise to the Almighty and even concludes with “Amen!”. But this is not the end of Paul’s letter. Chapter 12 starts with a “therefore…”, so even as we sing praise to God we must ask: What else is our Lord doing in and through our lives so that others may join together in worship of our great God?
