Advent - Week 1 - C

We are reminded in our readings for today to always “be ready”.  Ready for what? Ready for the second coming of Christ, who will come unexpectedly. Ready to meet Jesus, because “salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.”  And while we look forward to that glorious day, we have opportunity every day to share the perfect love of God as “we put on the Lord Jesus Christ.”  Are you ready?
